Beautiful Chaos
I have not read much of the book yet, but so far as I have read I have found out many things about the main characters and the plot. This is the third book in the Beautiful Creatures series. The title of the book already have a very significant meaning to this book. There are two main characters in this book. The first is Ethan Wate, he is a normal teen meets a group of people who are like witches but call themselves casters. He is then thrust into a world of fending for his life and falling in love with the other main character. Her name is Lena Duchannes. She is a caster and is apart of a curse where on her sixteenth birthday she will have to choose whether she will become a Light Caster; also known as the good guys; and the Dark casters.
Beautiful Chaos means that it about the beautiful creatures that have special powers as casters and the chaos means that after Lena chooses to be both a light and dark caster and this throws the entire world out of it’s natural balance. Because of how Lena claimed herself, the natural balance of the world is destroyed and now all of the powers of the other casters misfire. Even the normal human world is out of order with record heat and locusts.
So far in this book, we have found out that Lena’s great-uncle, Abraham, is the world’s most powerful blood Incubus. The blood Incubuses are just like the human’s equivalent to a vampire. He is now hunting Ethan trying to find information about Lena and how she claimed herself. Ethan has no idea how she did it, so one night Abraham just gets frustrated and lets loose all chaos on the town he lives in. He sends a twister through most of the town and also burns down the library where Ethan loves to stay because it holds many good memories for him. Now all of the town is in a panic thinking that the end of the world is coming and that they are all going to die. But only the casters and Ethan know what truly is going on.
Truthfully, I can’t wait to find out what happens next. This really is one of the most suspenseful books I have ever read. Every page I have read makes me even more hooked and makes me want to know what will happen next. In the description of the book on the cover it tells you about how Ethan is being chased by something unknown and is starting to forget about who he really is. It is really making me question what will happen to Ethan and his relationship with Lena, and the fate of the world. But since there are more books after this, it makes you question where the author is going to take it. But as it says on the cover, some choices are difficult... others are deadly. I will see where the choices of Ethan and Lena will take the fate of the world.
